"Nigeria is a land of great potential" said Tony Blair at the dedication of Paul Adefarasin's cathedral dedication.Great potential means she has it but no manifestation yet.Such statements makes me sit down and want to work to bringout what's in me

Watched one of our Governors of late on AIT been interviewed on the present ASUU strike that's going to three months now and he kept saying ASUU should call off the strike so our children can go back to school.I kept wondering as he was saying this repeatedly that "does this man have any of his children in any government owned Institution?".I was so sure they can't be in Nigeria, and if they are would be in a private University. So is this man really concerned about the youths or the image of the present administration?ITS SO SAD

Lots of the people who portray themselves as our leaders don't know that leadership is service and sacrifice.Would it be a bad idea if a law is passed that all political office holders wards school in our government owned institutions? And if any of them be sick be treated in our government owned hospitals? Can't our leaders forgo one month salary and allowance to salvage the economy?

All this may sound harsh but from the true concept of leadership which is sacrifice, this is achievable.Things I said above will surely guarantee upward movement for our nation. Its just sad that people who portray themselves as our leaders don't know this.Heard in the history of USA that the lawmakers cameout to say they will not receive salary nor allowance for four years to salvage their economy. They will legislate for free...NOW THAT'S LEADERSHIP.
