Connected By Blood

As a parent, sure you won't want to pray to have a kid like me
Guess you are shocked. My father was the finest man I grew up knowing,he loves
all his kids including me. His likeness for me was so much he just won't give up
on me
Got suspended from school,expelled eventually,did lots of stupid things but all the
way he was just there for me. Though sometimes I had to pay with a piece of my
flesh due to some serious beating.& my dad being a cop sure knows how to deal
with people like me...lolz. I remember one time I committed a very grievous
offence(very very bad)& I was stripped naked & had like four mobile policemen
beat me up,it sure wasn't a palatable experience.
But looking back at those moments though not palatable when I was subjected to
all those punishments I tend to appreciate & love my father for not giving up on
me. I wondered of late why he never thought for one day that he will disown
me...then a radical truth came up: WE ARE NOT CONNECTED BY ACTS,WE WERE
CONNECTED BY BLOOD..
WAO!!! At this truth I rejoiced cos I know if my earthly father would do all to
ensure I live a good life by not abandoning me while I was in the process of
making,how much more my heavenly father who says: "can a suckling mother
forget her child, NO; but they can still forget but I the Lord will not forget you cos
I have engraved a picture of you on each of my palms. Then I realised why the
father of the prodigal son will wait from the very 1st day His son left home at a
particular window everyday knowing where and what his son will be engaged
in,BLOOD NOT ACTS..God loves you beyond your acts,as much as He wants you
to live a better life,He sure won't leave you or cast you away..Keep coming into
His presence cos that's where your change lies...Don't feel condemned by what
you have done,you will be surprised at the party that awaits you when you come
home...
