Not so many people knew that Joseph Jacobs had to leave his fathers house for his dream to come to pass. If he saw himself as a ruler & there was no rulership structure in his fathers hometown, then he needed to be in Egypt where he could become a prime minister. His brothers hatred only aided his dream All that happened to Joseph was a chain of events that led to his dream eventually becoming fulfilled. One thing is that God sees from a larger perspective than we tend to see. And because He does,He ensures that things are always in our favour even the bad things, times & experiences. When we say "God is good",it doesn't necessarily mean that God ensures that good things happen to us always but that even when bad things happen to us,He ensures its all working out for our good. GLORY TO GOD Let's see Josephs chain of events: Joseph won't become a ruler if he stayed in Israel cos Israel had no king at that time. So if his brothers didn't hate him,he would remain in his fathers house. And if they didn't sell him,he would never have gone to Potiphars house. If he never went to Potiphars house, Potiphars wife will not have liked him to lie against him and he is sent jail. I f he never went to jail,he would not have met the butler that he interpreted his dream. If he never met the butler to interpret his dream, the butler on getting back to the palace would never have told Pharaoh "I know a man who can interpret your dream".And if Pharaoh was never told about Joseph,he would never have come before Pharaoh to intepret his dream. And if he never interpreted Pharaoh's dreams, Pharaoh would never have said "Who is as wise as thee?" and made him his second in command .There maybe a similar chain of events that looks like things are getting worse in your life but IT WILL ALL MAKE SENSE IN THE END
