We live in a fast paced world right now. Everybody wants everything fast, fast internet, fast food, fast cars etc. Everybody wants to take a shortcut to get to where they are going. They want to arrive fast not knowing that it may not always work like that. Its the reason why the word PATIENCE is fast being lost as a virtue in our society
I read this scripture some years ago & it so much blessed me:
Exodus 13:17-18 "And it came to pass, when Pharoah had let the people go,that God led them not through the way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near;for God said,Lest peradventure the people repent when see war,& they return to Egypt: But God led the people about, through the way of the wilderness of the red sea:& the children of Israel went up harnessed out of the land of Egypt
This taught me a great lesson as I saw that there was a shortcut to the promise land but God took them through the longer route which was not without a reason. They have been slaves for many years, they haven't seen war before & they don't even know how mighty their God is. If they had gone through the land of the Philistines & immediately encountered a war situation, they would have gone back to Egypt. But God took them through the wilderness to display his power so they could trust him. But unfortunately with all they saw, they still had fear seeing giants when they got to the promise land
You may be in a situation going through tough times that seem will never end. You seem to be in a hurry to get to where you going but because God sees what you don't see,he decides in your best interest not to move yet. Let patience have her perfect work, hold on,trust God,have faith in God.
HE WILL TAKE YOU OUT TO TAKE YOU IN. God bless & keep you in Jesus name. Love you always..It can only get better
